Where to Stay in San Francisco, USA - Fairmont San Francisco

A weekend well spent at the legendary hotel in San Francisco, Fairmont San Francisco. The hotel was first built by the daughters of the Fair family in honor of their mining magnat father.  The hotel was the vanguard of the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts chain. The view from the room is just breathtaking! We loved our room so much that we didn't want to leave at all, so we ordered room service. Seriously, can you think of a better place to enjoy the breakfast?

I would also highly recommend to check out the Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar , the iconic restaurant of Fairmont San Francisco. A historic tiki bar, which opened in 1945 and was remodeled in 1952, and 1967. The restaurant was built like a movie set with incredible interior design. It features a bandstand on a barge that floats in a former swimming pool, a dining area built from parts of an old sailing ship, and artificial thunderstorms. The Asian-influenced food not only has beautiful presentations, but also great flavors. The over atmosphere is even more elevated when the live band is playing.
