Where to stay in Barcelona, Spain - Cotton House Hotel

Ok, hat off, Cotton House Hotel is one of the most beautiful/photogenic boutique hotels I have ever stayed. In fact, it exceeded all my expectations: location, decor, service, food, and so on. Never saw a more friendly and efficient staff (who are also impeccably dressed!). After checking in, we were given a tour of the hotel and an explanation of its history which runs deep and then to our beautiful room with a front garden. The bathroom is the winner for us. It was quite large with two huge sinks and the shower was larger than our walk-in closet. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were many fluffy pillows.

The location of the hotel couldn't be any better for exploring Barcelona. There are two Metro stops nearby and Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia, and the Gaudi houses are all walking distance.

The restaurant has not only the gorgeous interior but also fantastic food. Its garden/outdoor sitting space was equally inviting. A must-try dish is the white chocolate soup with beet syrup. Very surprising combo, but sooo delicious. It was a pity that we could only stay one night as we were heading to our cruise with th Royal Caribbean. Would definitely stay there again next time!
